In making evaluations of who to vote for, we encourage our members to consider which candidates genuinely support public education, as well as other children’s issues.
The Massachusetts State PTA, of which the HPTA is a chapter, has asked us to let our members know that the Massachusetts State PTA Board has voted unanimously to oppose Ballot Questions 1 and 3.
The Massachusetts Teachers Association is also opposing Ballot Question 3. Please note that our local organizations, the Hopkinton PTA and the Hopkinton Teachers Association (HTA), have NOT taken a position on the state ballot questions, but we would like to encourage our members to research these issues and make their own informed decisions.

All Hopkinton precincts vote at the Middle School Gym, 88 Hayden Rowe Street (enter by Grove Street). The polls are open from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Absentee ballot applications are due by noon on Monday, November 1.
